Top Rank is going to have Murata vacate the belt. Arum doesn't like this fight for him since it wouldn't be in-house.

Jermall Charlo has his shot at the WBC title next, Derevyanchenko and Jacobs are apparently going after the vacant IBF, Billy Joe Saunders has to fight Andrade to defend his WBO.

If Murata vacates here, his only real clear big opportunity would be against Zurdo Ramirez at 168 (Benevidez has the the WBC, Uzcategui has the IBF, and George Groves has the WBA). Lol

Only reasons I can think of are:

Planning on GGG beating Canelo and making GGG-Murata next and, if GGG loses, going ahead with the Brant fight?

Or, less likely they're going to consolidate champions by having Murata fight Ramirez?

So if he vacates Brant will fight someone else for the vacant interim title or something?

                Brant would have walloped Murata.

Why would Murata vacate? What is so bad about fighting Brant? I don't get what Arum is doing here, I'm getting very concerned about how protected some TR fighters are getting after this ESPN deal

WOW Arum how the hell did you lose this one? Props to Greg Cohen, good for him and his Promotion I guess but lets see what Arum does, he might advise Murata to Drop or something weird like that
