Comments Thread For: Golovkin Welcomes War With Canelo: He's NOT a Heavy Puncher

According to WBC, IBO, WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KOs), he was never bothered by the punching power of Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) when they collided in September 2017. Golovkin says he is more than willing to fight in a toe to toe manner, when he collides with Canelo for a second time on September 15th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

118-110 for Alvarez. Wow. Guess it’s been awhile cuz I didn’t remember the robbery being so blatant.

WOW GGG!!!!!!! He basically said, “Why didn’t you win last time if your such a superior fighter. And your not even a heavy puncher to me despite being on some stuff. I didn’t feel anything so I’m not changing anything. Your nothing but all talk for this promotion. Let’s see what you really have come fight time. I’m coming for you round 1!”

That’s basically what he said. GGG with the trash talk-LOL!!!!! Can’t wait to see this fight!!!!

The fact that Canelo had the audcatity to complain about getting a draw in a fight he deserved to lose shows his level of entitlement. He's of the mindset that if he goes 12, the decision should just be handed to him. As it has been in the past. Same way he thinks that his positive tests should be forgiven, forgotten and never brought up.

If Canelo wants to go to war, GGG is happy to oblige. However, I suspect Canelo will be running for his life from round 1, and GGG will stalk him, walk through return fire, and take him out around rounds 8-10.

Golovkin has taken Clenelp's juicing really personally. Hopefully he musters a prime performance despite his age.

So Canelo is not a heavy puncher yet ggg abandoned going to the body simply beacause........ the only thing ggg did better in their first fight is land more jabs. Canelo outlanded him in body and power punches
