Yeah I'd say more of a boxer-puncher. He's not a pure counter puncher, but he can start offense with the other guy getting off first

Boxer puncher, but if he gets your timing down he'll just cruise the whole fight trying to counter punch.

Edit: apart from Golovkin, that was not a cruise in the slightest.
