Roy would win, his awkward style would probably give PBF problems for sure. Roy is the only guy I have seen have so much success without a jab. The dude would come at you with an uppercut from across the ring..his natural ability and reflexes were just insane

RJJ easy. if RJJ catches him he KO's floyd. we really havnt seen him take a heavy punch. i think it would be a good fight but if roy gets him with those combos its over. roy by either UD or KO
Are you serious right now or did you honestly just miss the question??
Roy Jones had more athletic ability, but Mayweather is the smarter fighter.
True. Floyd would be able to adjust to Roy's style i would think, and find an effective way to exploit him.
That being said, Roy was extremly athletic and has great reflexes. He is also (or would be anyways) the faster fighter, but if were talking about Floyd with no hand problems, its alot closer.
This is a razor thin toss up IMO.
P4P, i give the slight edge to floyd... floyd uses more skills than roy does.. roy keeps his hands low, doesnt jab and relies on his natural abilities and talent to get away with it... floyd has great athletic ability too, but he also uses his boxing fundamentals...
I understand that it seems i'm asking who's better p4p, but what would be the outcome of a match up, if they were both in the same weight at the same time the power advantage would be canceled out cause RJJ wasn't a big hitter. I couldn't say myself, Mayweather has natural talent & great boxing intelligence and skill(not to mention speed), RJJ had blinding speed and a very dificult style for anyone hands down. It would be a very close fight but who wins is a huge toss up, which says alot.
Not getting into weight just based on skill and speed of Mayweather now & Roy at his prime who'd take the win? Now I have alot of faith in Floyd's incredible boxing skill, he owns the ring when he's in it, but prime Jones gave B-Hop a loss, he very tough to deal with so how'd you call it? Dig In.
Intriguing. This is essentially a pound-for-pound match-up.
It would be a closely contested bout, quite possibly boring at times as Jones-Hopkins.
I'd favor Jones because of his incredible speed. Jones by close decision.
