"He (Canelo) landed his best punch and it did nothing..." Wrong!
Canelo's punches turned GGG into a sniveling whining crybaby. He is a completely different person after that fight. His complaints seem more desperate. I hope GGG does not have chronic traumatic encephalopathy now.Comment

Trella gave Canelo round 7. You, Moretti & even Byrd gave GGG that rnd as one of the two he won! Yet you ask what's wrong with Trella's card?
Here's just a snip of the 1st round which many claim Canelo won including all 3 judges!
Canelo didn't throw a punch until :40sec into the fight, backpeddled the entire time & was outlanded 10/23 to 15/33 by Golovkin (both lowest outputs of the fight).
Tough to land combinations when your opponent is straight running away. Golovkin had the ring generalship, effective aggression, not to mention he out-landed Saul by 50% in that opening round. Some people often score the 1st round poorly since the fight just started & they tend to go more with their preconceived notions until things start warming up.

Funny you mention Breadman; he had GGG winning. Also has the same thoughts on the opening of the fight. Strange how you leave that part out. He says one thing you like yet forget the rest.
Clearly? Please see above regarding round 1. Canelo was outlanded in 4 of the 6 rounds you're giving him. It's not always about the punch count, but that's what makes things less clear isn't it? I have np with 2,3,12. Rounds 10 & 11 were very close & only that Canelo decided to put up some offense following 6 straight rounds of running to the ropes that some give him the benefit of the doubt. Funny that was immediately after his corner said he needed all those rounds to stand a chance. He did put up a much better fight in those rounds though, but was that enough to win them? Far from clear but still only adds up to 5 rounds won on the outside.Originally posted by Stephen "Breadman" EdwardsThe one thing I didn’t like about the scoring was the 1st round. GGG won that round easy. Canelo barely punched. Every judge gave it to Canelo. Watch that round closely. Very closely. I would challenge anyone to show me how Canelo won round 1. The scoring of uneventful rounds are important. The scoring of this round actually cost GGG the fight before the violence even broke out.Last edited by S7V7N; 08-11-2018, 01:27 PM.Comment

Canelo may have not hurt GGG but he landed some big punches (especially in the last three rounds) and those are the kind of shots that score points and get the judge's attention. If Canelo can be more consistent this time in his offensive over 12 rounds then he I believe he will win easily.Comment

GGG didn't land sht in the first round but a couple of jabs that barely touched canelo. Canelo actually landed the signficant punches of the round

Compubox is trash, Floyd v manny and this fight, it was so off. I completely ignore it now. Lampley was and will be a GGG fan boy. Look at the jab numbers he said lol, from a supposed killer.
And for those *****ing about Canelo boxing, watch Ggg vs Lemieux, Ggg didn't want to trade and boxed.Comment
