Another Windows Movie Maker question!!!

Some videos that i have (that work perfectly on windows media player) wont work on windows movie maker. I upload it onto the program, but all i get is a green sceen thing and another window pops up with a picture from the video.

Anybody know how to get these videos to work on WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER??? Is there a codec that i need? if so, which one would i use??

I just wanna make a gatti compilation, and i need my gatti fights to work in windows movie maker. Anybody know how?

What's the extension to those videos that don't work? Such as, .avi .mpg .mpeg .mov .real Any idea?

go to goodle and download cole2k. it is a program that installs all the codecs you need.

no clue. its default player is windows media player, so prolly .MPG, .MPEG, or somthing like that. NOT .mov or .real

Anyone here know how to use a codec? do u just install it and then itll work? or do u gotta do something else. cause i just installed that codec above and it didnt do anything.
