So which wins are not real. I was responding to the thread starter Larry not you. Since he stated he considers the Canelo fight a loss for Golovkin that makes that fight eligible for the list.

I didn't agree with him on that either man, lets just post "OFFICIAL" WINS..Canelo and GGG both have a chance to get official wins against each other in less then a month

Sorry Larry if you started the thread you get to set the rules. You didn't. Canelo is on my list.

Don't know how you can say that. Canelo's punches had very little effect on Golovkin. Canelo however had to back pedal most of the fight.

1- Filching GBP for 45% in the rematch.
2- Forcing Canelo to feel he'd need to cheat in order to compete with GGG.
3- Gaining more public appeal while listening to the fans boo Canelo.
4- Making Saul run & hide after claiming he'd come to fight.
5- Getting 30% of the split when DLH promised only a flat fee.
6- Crowned the WBC Champion without a fight, the start of tarnishing Canelo's legacy.

Somewhere down around #7 biggest win - Jacobs

Canelo used movement, as he had trained to do for the fight, because Canelo exposed to face a powerful puncher. It turned out that Golovkin was completely unable to hurt Canelo, while Canelo obviously did a lot of damage to Golovkin, so I expect Golovkin to get knocked out this time.

What damage other than some superficial swelling. He could not force Golovkin back, force him to give up his attack or pin him to the ropes. The punches weren't effectively controlling the fight for Canelo.
Canelo needs to come up with a better game plan. Going to the ropes and fighting for only short periods isn't going to get him a win.

We weren't watching the fight together, but my group was also stunned at the decision.

It really is a popularity thing. Gennady follows Canelo around - gets thudded multiple times every round - but has a nice jab in between...all the while grossly missing power shots and even when he did land...nothing.

Canelo outboxed Gennady easily... :/ I expected more from the ******
