He was half his damn size. Other fighters get crucified for fighting smaller fighters but gamboa with his t rex arms is apparently a great win? Is his resume that thin that youve got to hype that win up? At least brook and golovkin looked a fairly similar size when they were in the ring.

It wasnt a good win at all. Size disparity was no different than Spence-Mikey Garcia.

Crawford even got clocked real hard by a midget.

Why do you hate Crawford so much? Gamboa is not even his best win, probably his 4th best win.

As for Golovkin, come on, he got nothing on Crawford, there is absolutely no point in bringing him into this thread.

Lol... I could give someone credit if they had a good argument but you went down the ******est road and made a comparison to Brook who went up two weight classes for the first time.
Gamboa was the favorite (edit; looking back, that blog source was incorrect, he was slight underdog)

What argument is needed, just watch the footage.

When Gamboa fought Crawford, he had been out of the ring for a year and was fighting at 135 for only the second time.
Gamboa's a great name to have on your resume, but if you dig a little you see it wasn't an impressive win for Crawford.

Yeah, I don't see it as one one of Crawford's best. I didn't give Gamboa much of a chance.
I'm a fan of both fighters to be honest, but i don't think 135 is where Gamboa's should be. Certainly against quality opposition.

... it was quite a big win, back then -- Gamboa was undefeated, in his prime, etc...
