I would call him good, not great. He is too old to suddenly become great. That's just my opinion. If others think he is great maybe they are right. I don't think any heavyweight fighting today is great. If Ortiz can come close to KOing Wilder I think a prime Foreman or Tyson would KO him.

It'll be interesting when the posters who have been trashing Joshua, calling him a stiff chinless bum, suddenly proclaim wilder "great" if he beats him.

There are 7 billion people on the planet. Wilder is, at worst, the second best boxer out of 7 billion people. I'd say that makes him great.

If they can point out someone in a lower weight class that would be the betting favorite against Wilder right now, I'm all ears.

It's a sad state of affairs. Wilder is an unskilled bum who looks like he took up boxing 6 months ago.

Clearly not a bum. Been the champion of boxing for three and a half years. What he lacks in technical skill, he makes up for with freaky superhuman knockout power.

Surprise Surprise...Accolade sucking off Wilder again.

I would say that for Deontay Wilder to be great, it has to be unquestioned by all boxing fans. It must be the boxing zeitgeist. If he didn't have the WBC Title, I would say he's good at best, but I agree with WBC WBA IBF...out of 7 billion people, 2nd/3rd best isn't too shabby.

Athletically and Genetically; he is a good heavyweight FIGHTER, technical ability wise; he is a poor heavyweight BOXER.

He's been a champion, not the champion. 3 and half years of fighting bums lol.
