Matt Korobov thought Jose Uzcategui would want a rematch of the only loss Uzcategui hasn't avenged. Uzcategui seeks an opponent for his first defense of the IBF super middleweight title. Korobov considers himself perfect for that assignment, especially considering their history, but Korobov told BoxingScene.com he has been informed Uzcategui wants to fight someone else next.

He is avoided. Say what you want about him - he gasses in fights, he can't take a shot, he's beatable - but for first 3-4 rounds he can make anyone look bad and do some real damage with his sharp left hand.
I think he deserves 1 more shot. 160 or 168. Someone has to fight him...

Yeah, Andy Lee's ability to make a fight go to the championship rounds is Korobov's weakness and that's why he was able to beat him.

I don't know why, but Korobov is ranked #13 by the IBF @ 168, and not ranked in the Top 15 by any other organization. He is not ranked in the Top 15 by anybody @ 160. Maybe that's why he can't get title fights?

I'll take his word for it, being that he's already fought Uzcategui. Charlo, however, will clean his clock. I wouldn't mind seeing it though.
