The fighter that establishes their bodywork first will win in Sept.
I see someone getting caught super early in the fight that will change all game plans.
HE was banned for Carelessness, not for Cheating you bum! weren't you crying because it was only six months instead of two years? The commission knows and the hair follicle test clear everything out.
He was banned for having an illegal drug in his body. He's responsible for having it in his system.

It's crazy how long we've heard about his stamina issues and that "all he has to do is work on his stamina and he'll be fine," and yet we keep hearing that after every fight. Sooner or later you'd think people would realize stamina is something he isn't going to have, at least not traditional stamina that a lot of Mexican boxers have. Then again, he's not built like a traditional Mexican fighter.
Angelo Dundee used to say that he didn't like his fighters to be too heavily muscled. Big muscles take a lot of energy to use and these type of fighters tire early. Canelo, Joshua, etc. Lanky wiry muscled fighters are overall the most dangerous as they are quick, hit hard and generally have good stamina.
He did what he did to survive. He didnt do enough because he couldn't. That FEAR stopped him from doing anything. CLOSE CONTEST now ur a comedian. GTFOH
lil g was showing fear when Nelo told him to come to the ropes....LOL
This "Blueprint" was already established by Jacobs & in fact Amari was the first to do so 10yrs ago when he was the last to go the distance in an 8rd fight prior to GGG starting that huge KO streak. Use the entirety of the ring, high guard, fight defensively, pick your shots & try to counter against a come-forward fighter that enjoys volume punching. It's not an original plan. Canelo simply executed it well & GGG was a willing combatant that walked into (& through) those fan-pleasing counter shots.
There are many adjustments that both fighters can make to improve their odds; Sure Caneo can throw more volume trying to up his stamina at the same time (if possible for his well muscled frame to keep the oxygen flowing) but it means he'll be open to more shots, it's why he fought defensively in the first place. He picked his shots for a reason, to conserve energy while trying to neutralize most of Golovkin's aggression & pot-shot him. The more he engages the more chance GGG has to actually connect cleanly. Something he really never did last time around. Canelo was very slick with his upper body movement & this definitely helped preserve him to see the final bell.
What if Golovkin simply didn't come forward as much & turned this more tactical rather than ramming head-first & forcing the action? He could jab Canelo all night long, simply being more selective with his shots much the same way en-route to a 12 round snooze fest. A counter-puncher needs openings & punches to actually counter. Don't give him so many. Gennady has the better jab, length, strength, use those attributes. What about head movement from Golovkin? He's become very accustomed to eating shots (since he can) rather than keeping his defensive integrity & minimizing the opponents scoring opportunities.
Offensively, GGG could step to the right & throw the right hook more rather than the straight when Canelo is boxed in. Saul did the same move over & over when rolling to his left off the ropes. The uppercut to split the guard followed by left hook was also missing at times when Canelo was bobbing back & forth. Golovkin used to throw that combination several times each fight back in the day when had opponents locked down. GGG's style is to entertain & bring the fight to the opponent, I don't think he'll change that. He can maximize his opportunities though simply by selecting a better mix of punches to score more effectively/cleanly & that's what I expect him to do the second time around.
The thing that can't be changed by either fighter is the judges. Most saw GGG as the clear winner. Even if he improves how does that change the scores? It's the easiest way Canelo finds victory while Golovkin sees his first defeat. Some things are just out of your control. Let's all just hope for a better outcome that doesn't leave a sour taste in our mouth once again.
Great analysis and explanations. One comment on it going to the judges. If it goes to the judges and GGG is robbed, no one will watch a third fight, at least I won't. Bad decisions (fixed decisions) are beginning to make boxing look like professional wrestling.
I thought you dudes said lil g aged vs Jacobs? Excuse galore....LOL
Wtf? I never said anything about GGG ageing after Jacobs. I'm totally neutral. What do you mean 'you dudes'? You getting me confused with someone else?
Fanboys are the ones that lie for their favorites. If Nelo ran & didn't have lil g's respect then lil g would of accepted Nelo's invitation on the ropes but lil g respectfully declined....LOL....even though lil g is limited in skills he still has some pop & Nelo boxed smart not scared which shows Nelo can fight more than one way unlike lil g....LOL
So ur right and the other 99% of the people who saw the fight are wrong? Whos the betting favorite AGAIN??? Even with so called limited skill. What does that tell u about Canelo. He can change all he wants and say hes gonna go for the knock out but even u know he won't stand and trade with GGG. He went to the ropes cuz there was nothing else he could do.
Fact is, it was a draw! Wany to know other facts? Ok here are a few... Canelo has never been caught cheating, he was caught with trace amounts of clen consistent with meat contamination, he passed the hair follicle test, he is now enrolled into vada 365.. All facts.
The commision doesnt suspend people for no reason. Dumbass thats a fact
