Sary azz Mikey will do anything to avoid a whippin from Loma. Rather get battered by Spence than a more realistic opponent like Crawford or Loma.

Why? Duran took on Leonard jumping 12 pounds/2 divisions. Mikey is a good fighter and I don't think he is avoiding any fight against lomachenko. Actually am pretty sure he would be a betting favorite if they fight tomorrow.

If he wants to make a 147lb attempt I think he deserves it just like any 4 weight division title holder would deserve it & specifically when it might be the biggest fight that could be made for both guys right now.

I always criticized Hagler for facing little bitty dudes coming up in weight. But Mikey is a guy swiftly jumping up classes, he still a 135lbs fighter imo.

Mikey would never in his life be a favorite against Loma. They fight the same style, except Loma is way better. And Mikey knows that.

I think you are discounting what Mikey's accomplished in the game. He's a 4 division champion. He's beaten some quality guys. He's a P4P discussed guy. This kind of person should be able to call some of their own shots & while Spence is a big shot to call I don't think Spence's greatness in this sport is assured or predestined.

Mikey is legit one of the best options IF he wants to fight before the year up. There isn't a whole lot of options.

Some of you cats got such a unrealistic take on how this game works. Granted I wish it was more like how you want it to be myself, but the reality is thats not what we are dealing with & to put all of that on the fighter isn't a reasonable take on the situation. Fighters generally do what they can do to make the best fights for the most money they can make. But sometimes all this politics bs hinders there game massively in doing things we as fans would enjoy more. Its all that bs thats the problem more than Spence is the problem.
