Its not about losing, or getting beat. This will expose him as a tactician. Everything he does well, Loma is a master at. Mikey just has a power advantage.

IF Mikey took a few fights at 147 first I would pick Mikey to Out-Box Spence Jr but jumping up to 147 now for a fight in December, that will be a bit of a challenge. However I don't think Mikey will be just walked through, he is very skilled so I think he will shockingly hold his own with Spence Jr even if it is in a Losing Effort

I like Loma too but the bold doesn't make much sense. Matter of fact, it would be advantageous for Garcia to face Loma now instead of Spence! Loma was knocked down and injured in his last fight, he's susceptible for an upset upon his return.

If you follow the history of Top Rank (Arum), then you know he doesn't willingly do business with fighters outside of his promotional umbrella especially those that broke away from his grasp.

Garcia seems to have a supreme belief in his abilities and realizes he can actually negotiate a lucrative fight with Spence.......

Bob is a smart promoter if it’s a relatively easy fight for his fighter with tremendous rewards he’d push the button right away. But why aren’t we seeing such initiative??
Why aren’t they pressuring Mikey at all to fight Loma or just make some publicity stunts to do so?
