Boxing sure doesn't have a shortage of delusional athletes does it. Damn. You clearly lost that fight.

The first couple rounds, he was looking spectacular. Then he gassed and got predictable, and HBO caught on, albeit belatedly. But even so, they were actually too charitable giving Chilemba rounds, not Bivol. Bivol won every single round. Just because he was doing worse than before in the late rounds doesn't mean Chilemba was actually doing anything to win rounds. He was making Bivol miss more, yes, but he wasn't scoring points of his own. As the HBO crew said, Bivol's streak of holding opponents to less than 10 landed punches per round was intact all night. And the one thing that did stay mostly consistent even in the late rounds was Bivol peppering Chilemba with a nice jab. Bivol won every round off the jab alone, and the few power shots he landed per round in the late rounds were just gravy.
Why ridiculous? I basically said what you did with much less words and didnt even have to listen to the pundits

My guess is that every top light heavyweight will wait for Beterbiev to get old untill they fight him...that power is just too much

he's beaten no one of note cloud is his biggest win and he folds like a peice of paper I agree he's got a punch and could become the best in the weight but I would still take washed up kovalev to beat him

Whatever happened to Beterbiev? I thought he was the best at 175.

I don think Chelemba won every round after the 5th but he did fight a lot better. I gave him 3 or 4 of the last 6. The ones that he lost were also close.

Bivol got predictable and was spending chunks of the late rounds not even throwing punches. I don't think he was tired (he still had a good bounce), but for what ever reason he chose to stop fighting. I don't know if Chilemba had him confused or he just decided to get some rounds in.

Not even close, Isaac. You're a good fighter but you keep selling yourself short by not taking enough chances during the close ones. This wasn't even a close one. Stop it. You didn't even force Bivol to do that much to win most of the rounds. Because you wouldn't try hard enough. Sorry. I wanted you to do well. But your mentality is part of why your record is what it is. It's not all bad judging and I know it's not a lack of talent. You're not using the talent like you could. And you will probably never win a major title because of it.
