In Shane's mind that makes him a better fighter. As boxing fan I know those attributes don't guarantee you a victory. We just saw a stronger fighter with big punch get brutally KO'd by a light punching fighter. There are a lot of attributes that Mayweather possess that made him a better fighter than De la Hoya.

Again, Mosely might've been able to do more against Mayweather if they fought earlier. He was faster and a harder puncher. I remember the HBO crew commenting that Mosely seemed faster than Mayweather, which I kinda agreed at the time. Being faster didn't get him the win then and it wouldn't made a difference if the fight was earlier. Mosely would've probably thrown more punches and missed alot more. I also doubt Mayweather would've got caught with that overhand right earlier in his career. This fight would've been more competitive but I still think Mayweather would've beat Mosely.

when people say a fighter in his prime would beat Floyd they skip over the fact that Floyd too would be in his own prime in this fantasy matchup. lol.

in these ppls minds Floyd's prime never ended. it lasted until he retired vs Conor. delusional.

a younger Shane/Oscar means a younger Floyd as well. dont get too excited.

            Oscar got the blueprint though.

He came up with it one night he was locked in a Vegas hotel suite wearing a bra and panties...

                Lol you dudes.

It was a close fight I watched it live. I had it 7-5 for Mayweahter.

To think Oscar would have done slightly better should the fight have taken place in his prime is not unimaginable and people who say that are just haters / floyd fanboys.

What does Quartey have to do with Floyd? Oscar did well while past his prime with Mayweather. A fresher De La Hoya would have a better shot.

Dude I swear, like you can't say anything at all unless it's absolute praise. like it's unimaginable to think a prime Oscar does better than a past it Oscar had done. God forbid!

Of course no argument there De La Hoya had more experience and it even showed in there fight Floyd didnt pick him apart like he did Mosely & Canelo and a few others.
