in other words the 50 million never existed.
Finkle likes to negotiate on social media so where is that so called 50 million contract they were suppose to have for joshua.
Finkle would have been on all media waving that bit of paper about if it was true.
It never exsited just like unicorns and sugar plum fairies.

      It was never substantiated.
      Hearn wanted a meeting.
Finkel was just a stone's throw away in NY and he said no.
What kind of negotiations is that?
Why would anyone refuse a meeting that involves hundreds of millions of dollars?
It's nothing more than a publicity stunt.

Use some common sense man.promoters.also haggle over every penny, they won t just throw him 50 mill with no negotiation and just cause it's a round figure. Wilder v Joshua in America isn't even that big an event i don't know where the hell u think all this money is gonna get generated from or is uncle al just doing it out of the goodness of his own heart
Maybe they knew it might not make them money on this fight but if Wilder beat AJ which he probably would have in US then he has all the belts and would be worth more in his next fights.
Kinda like buying the belts of AJ

Of course it was. If it wasn't, that would've been Team AJ's reason for turning the offer down rather than "I need to do it in the UK for the fans".

Wait, what? I'm not going to take a side on this, but since when is anyone in boxing held accountable for their words? The whole industry is built on PR stunts. Every single day, someone in the business says things they'll never follow through on.

Either one side is lying, or both sides are lying. Which throws out of the defense of not doing it in case of "possibly ruining their reputation", because at least one of those sides are doing it anyway.

You are aware of who Al Haymon is right? Do you know that he and Don King were key guys behind the Jacksons victory tour of the 80s? As well as other acts. If Al Haymond said he has $50 million to put up, he has it.

I'm certain that the $50 million was there because Al Haymon was behind the biggest fights in boxing history, managed to get $500 million from investors for PBC, and is unanimously appreciated by his fighters for getting them paid (AND people in the music industry. Drake mentioned getting "Al Haymon checks" in a song). Shelly Finkel also has a reputation for producing big fights, and Stephen Espinoza confirmed the offer was real. Espinoza gave Mayweather his $30+ million purses and the $100 million purse for the McGregor fight. Not to mention Showtime is linked to CBS, a company with $21 billion in just assets. By that alone I think it's safe to say the $50 million was real. The fact that specific terms of the deal were released: no rematch clause, fight in the US, 50-50 past $100 million also tells me that this was a genuine offer, if not a detailed one. The fact that Barry, Eddie, and AJ came out to publicly decline the offer, saying they'd be willing to take millions less to fight in the UK, also tells me this was a legitimate offer. What do you think and what are your reasons for believing/not believing Wilder's $50 million offer was real?
If Al Haymon and Finkel consign Wilder...then the money was there. Those across the pond have never made gates higher than 15 mil. That's why they doubted Wilder, lmao.
