Ward fled from Alvarez, Bivol and especially Beterbiev.

Then Ward saw Usyk in CW, and decided to just call it quits.

Kovalev was always destined to be Ward's little b*tch.

Sometimes when you punch a bully back he doesn’t want to make the effort to take your lunch money.

Ward Exposed Kovalevs susceptiblity to that type of punch, his weakness to the body, and lack of cardio

Ward exposed Kovalev for being a front runner and a lazy boxer. He blamed it on alcohol and his trainer but in reality Kovalev just wasn't disciplined enough. There was a reason he didn't advance in the amateurs because they knew his tendencies and he didn't fit the mold. He did have a lot of power and enough skills to get him this far. Ward was a better fighter and had more heart. Alvarez was not only better but had more of a killer instinct than Ward. That shot was and the ensuing barrage of punches was meant to end Kovalev for good. I don't see how he recovers from this. I could tell HBO jumped all the way off that band wagon last night.
