He was always compared to GGG. IMO Kovalev is a more talented fighter than GGG. And if he had GGG’s heart, will, and chin, he’d be damn near unbeatable. But people like you are pathetic. Still crying about the Ward fights. Let it go. Kovalev lost a questionable decision in he first fight. And came back and got his ass handed to him in the rematch. You’re not gonna change history. No matter how much you try.

BTW, the “black privilege” remark makes you sound just like these ignorant fux down here where I’m from yelling Make America Great Again from the porches of their trailer homes.
Lol my friend - anyone who says Ward deserved to get a win in that first fight...I mean that's the problem. No one should be defending that BS.

Chilemba is a better boxer than Ward. So is Alvarez. It isn't a race thing for me or a lot of other people who objectively analyze fights. A lot of my favorite fighters were black Americans even - Hearns, Leonard etc. And I'm American (and half Irish like Ward) so if anything I would love to hype him up as a great boxer.

But Ward point blank was hyped up to be the next Mayweather. I mean you know how much money Floyd made for people in boxing? US UK Mexico is where all the money is in boxing, so in general fighters from these countries/backgrounds get more hype relative to their level.

If Lara Alvarez and Chilemba were from the US they would all be undefeated and superstars.

(Thats who liston fought and lost against) kovalov let a freaking 168er make him quit hahahahaha. Kovalov let a 168 make him cry to the ref beg and then got knocked out by a body shot. He proceeded to lie about it but then recently in a video he gave all props to ward saying ward just hurt him and he couldn't recover.......since when has tyson foreman or.liston lost to a guy below their weight class? Lol dude the point was that you were mocking Kov for getting KO'd by not so big punchers...he pointed out guys who were considered bigger bullies than Kov, who had worse KO losses...come on man stay on point haha

So, now what? Who beats who now? Was Stevenson's recent weaker performance caused from his sickness? Or is he getting toward the short rows? Would Alvarez be able to stand up to him? Beterbiev? Bivol? Yarde? Jack? Because even though Alvarez exhibited some fairly slick boxing moves tonite, that chin won't hold up forever. And he was getting tagged a good bit.

IMO, Alvarez gives Stevenson all he can handle in a very close fight that could go either way. Beterbiev likely has too much for Alvarez and KOs him late. Jack/Alvarez is a 50/50 matchup. Bivol loses to Alvarez in a very close fight. Yarde is a tough call, I can't make a prediction.

And isn't it ironic that now Stevenson WILL likely fight Kovalev. Still great, however long it lasts... at or near a 50/50 fight.
Its kovalov fault all he does is blames other people for his constant drinking not wanting to train pineapple head. This ehole training cam he has been going in on david jackson.....*** david jackson there should be no thought about him in ure mind train and focus on whats in front of u. Kovalov always has to blame other people for why he showed up drunk in the gym. Forget boxing he needs to sit in a corner alone and figure out his issues......he still thinks tonthis day that jackson over trained him in that first fight wtf thats the best u ever looked in ure life? Kovalov is delusional and don't want to do hard work and it shows when he gasses. Jackson had his stamina on point the 1st ward fight this pinapple head calls that over trauned lolol no u want to drink vodka all day and do what ever u wany. For kovalov fans to be pissed at ward jackson for that is truly unreal.......some of these morons are even comparing kovalov to liston. Hahahaha

Honestly I think Kov was trolling everyone, knowing that anything he said like that would get publicity, and all fighters need publicity. Just having a laugh

It's funny that people think Kov was always better than GGG. Prior to him fighting Ward, I remember reading quite the opposite. Kov was good but Gennady was always levels above him.

I have Ward as the better fighter vs. K.

Nothing that Ward accomplished vs K says Alvarez wouldn’t have been just as effective today had he faced K before Ward.

Nothing Ward did against K tells me he was better than Alvarez. The shame is they didn’t get to fight.

I agree...it's funny but Ward is kind of like a special needs kid who came in and stole the belts...everyone is patting him on the head, and some people are on here acting like he really won the belts.

Meanwhile the rest of us are just glad the little guy has moved on and we can watch some real fights.

Yeah, his losses to Ward do affect his ego and he doesn’t like the subject brought up, but it’s also his lack of being fluent in english that leads to some responses losing their exact meaning, because he says something word for word in english as he would in russian, but when spoken in english it loses its intended meaning.
