I think the first Ward fight did ruin Kov really - but only because he reached the pinnacle of his career, clearly won the fight against someone assumed to be his equal, and they robbed him. He never mentally recovered from that. He should have realized life wasn't fair and come back stronger but he didn't.
A mental recovery, and a physical recovery from a K.O.
are worlds apart. Kovs chin was never the same after Wards K.O

hes 35 dude and his punch resistance is going. Ward hurt him with a right hand in the rematch and alvarez just iced him, neither are big punchers. Kovalev is done.

how is ko'ing a guy with low blows an excuse? its something that is not legal. an excuse is i wore the wrong socks so i lost. having the ref ignore the rules is a pretty big deal. yes you love ward but he cheated. alvarez did not cheat and scored a clean ko. how are they the same? do not compare alvarez to a cheater. your tribalism controls your brain.

I think that is an excellent fight. I’ll go with Alvarez because of his jab and chin. I thought he actually should have thrown the jab even more.

Stop crying. Kov should’ve got the decision in the 1st fight. Then he lost the rematch and lost here. It happens.

HBO was all on Alvarez' nuts in rds 1-3, then they forgot he was fighting because that's what they do to play tools like you like a fiddle.
                  Your absolutely right
Even if he would go the distance , Alvarez would of been ****d by the scores
Never would of gotten the decision imo

Skills wise he is better than Ward. He was a much tougher test for Kov tonight that Ward was in either fight. Ward has always gotten by on the black American privilege and he has never really clearly beaten any good fighter in his life, just truth bro.
Yeah Alvarez is more skilled than Ward lol what drugs you smoking

Yea it’s like they never preparrrd for that possibility. Also, guys like Kovalev always jump back up at the count of 3. It’s like their pride gets in the way. Stay down until 8, get your balance and stand straight up. Getting up at 3 on shaky legs doesn’t help at all
