Jirov vs Barrett

Jirov will walk through anything Barret has and kayo him late. Jirov is a delight to watch. Good boxing skills, warrior mentality, heart. Good fighter, i dont care who he fights i wanna see him fight soon. Toney/Jirov was awesome.

If Jirov was a bit bigger, Jirov would have been the Champion by now. I still think Jirov can beat 3/4 of the current "title" holders, and I think he can beat Vitaly on points if he does not get KDed. Jirov can handily defeat the current version of Wlad. I doubt that Jirov could defeat the old "pissed off" Wlad ... Wlad is too much of a philosopher now.


Jirov has great heart, great boxing skills, and the mindset of the champion.

philosopher, i like that. i think wlad would still win because the way jirov comes foward, he just wouldnt be able to handle the heat, and yes he would wilt before wlad would.

Toney beat Jirov. Jirov threw hundreds of shots at Toney & never hurt him. Toney was the better, stronger man down the stretch....& he dropped Vasilly to put a nice stamp on their fight.

Hey I am from European decent and I think that Jirov has little chance of beating Barrett, Wlad, Vitali. The same way I feel Toney has little chance of beating any of these guys. I am a realist.

I have listed Toney as one of my favorite 6 fighters (Wlad, Vit, Jirov, Holmes, Toney, Foreman). Toney will have trouble against big top heavies, just like Jirov does. They are small heavies but have big heart. Jirov almost demolished Messi at the end of their fight, so he will do well. And Toney is brilliant boxer, and he will do well. My preference would be for them to "start" up the cruiser division. Just move to their natural weight and fight there. It would have been a great division.
