I respct mikey for having huge balls but at this point even a win over a shot pac can set him up for superstardom. Spence is a beast no doubt but the guy has only two good wins in brook and peterson i even think its ****** to have spence at the p4p lists when there are guys more deserving.

If your Manny why fight Mikey you won't gain anything from that fight. If your going to fight a top fighter before retiring why not go for TC win or lose. I want someone to retire Pacman if they can but if Pacman wins that means he is still the best even at 40 yrs old.

Pacquiao should go after Spence too, Crawford will kick his ass and it won't be pretty. Spence is the weakest link of the top guys at welterweight, but he's got the most hype. Best **** for his buck, Pacquiao will kick Spence's ass till he slows down like he does now, but if he can survive and have a few late rallies he can win a decision there.

How would Spence trump anything on Mannys resume? Yes the weight advantage is commendable but Spence’s resume is paper thin. His best win was even until the stoppage, and the stoppage was coincidentally the same injury he suffered in his last fight, albeit on the other side. That tells me Brook has a considerable issue with his face...

Because I think Spence is the real deal, he is prime and there is no BS CW involved, Manny would not fight Spence without some sort of weight stipulation Mikey is not doing that he going straight into the wheelhouse with no conditions, Manny never did that he always had some weird stuff going on like a CW or the guy was coming of their career biggest loses, banned for 2 yrs etc , brought up or down in weight depending on risk even in his own division .

It doesn't have to be either or. He could face Pacquiao first and then move to 147 and not even face Spence in his first fight at 147. But he seems to be determined to push forward to make the fight despite what anybody says.

This scenario reminds me when Chad Dawson came down in weight for Andre Ward and everybody said, when he loses he will blame it on the weight, which he did. If Mikey loses will he say, I guess I came up in weight/took a hard fight too quickly.

Heres the catch going up in weight is entirely different than go down in weight, going up will rarely hurt you other than going in to a bigger man , going down in weight can reduce you to dead man walking.
