Nah i'll just wait and watch joshua have a real fight with povetkin, whilst birdlegs joke fight with fury falls apart and brazil is once again pencilled in as bum opponent number 42.

Thats right rex. As i dont reside on your side of the pond i dont seem to have that magic sh i t in my eyes that somehow allows me to see wilder as a killer of top 10 opponents, not the windmilling bumhunter that he actually is.

Wilder - Fury has this forum buzzing...

Easy fight to promote. It will cross over to casuals. Big puncher vs big talker...

No, you live on the side of the pond that sees AJ as some killer instead of a robot who is given gift TKO's and timeouts.

I would love to see this fight but I can't see it happening. WBC Mandatory Brazeale is due up before the end of the year (WBC rules 12 months, he was made mandatory November 2017 when he beat Molina). Mauricio Sulaiman indicated that he would have been happy to see Wilder v Ortiz 2 before then (~September) but couldn't make any promises as the fighters would have to agree. Brazeale is not going to step aside. Mauricio Sulaiman indicated that a unification would take precedence, but it won't apply. If Wilder v Fury, then there will be rematch provisions but this then takes us way in to 2019. It is not as if Wilder can let one of his belts go. It is the only one. SO how can a 2 fight Fury v Wilder match up work?

Perhaps: Sulaiman realizes that having the WBC title holder also be the lineal champion is too important to care about a mandatory for Brazeale? Brazeale accepts step-aside money? Wilder somehow fights (and KOs) Brazeale before he fights Fury?
