Golovkin can't fight when you force him to move his feet; that's pretty clear now.

You don't have to be Nolan Ryan or anything, but if you're a really good pitcher, and the batter you're facing can't hit the inside fastball, you'll mix in the rest of the stuff you have, but you're going to throw that inside fastball.

Until Golovkin shows otherwise, he's going to look as hapless as he did in the first fight.

Imagine being called hapless in a fight where 99% of experts ringside thought you won the fight handily. Lol

Of course he would, he’d come forward again to smaller fighters

The smart thing to do in boxing is to always have a strategy or a certain mindset in facing different opponents.
Your opponent is big and powerful, would you like to be available to his shots?

Your opponent is small and potshots, would you like to fight backwards? And get outpointed?

If you saw a difference in style then, yea, you're going to have to get technical and explain.
He was definitely Canelo and he did a lot of the screwing around that he's done in other fights too.

GG was the one who adapted. Clearly. I think the more interesting question is if GG will play slow and steady again, or if he'll try to assert himself more on Canelo, try to hurt him. I don't think we've ever seen GG fight like that. Jacobs fight was close, but he was far more cautious with Canelo.

My biggest question is will GGG attempt to go the body. People say he didnt cuz of counters. But G was walking thru flush power punches. I call BS

^Yes. That's probably the biggest question of the fight. One thing I notice about Sanchez fighters is that they follow I his instruction pretty rigidly. GG's success in this one may live or die on Sanchez's gamelan. They played it real conservatively in the first one. Probably can't afford to do that again.

Canelo would be a fool not to PUNISH the body this time. GG is at that age where he's probably going to be real susceptible to it. Plus, he's reacted the few times I've seen fighters land to his body before. He fights a bit hunched over, maybe to protect it. If Canelo sets up counters that open up the body, I bet he hurts him.

Both are brutal body punchers so we'll have to see who folds first.
