I think any unbiased expert would come to the conclusion that AJ & Widler are #1 and #2 in the world.

But if AJ won't fight Wilder on a fair percentage split, Wilder's best move was to go after Fury, even if he had to over pay him.

The best argument for Fury taking the fight sooner than later is that right now is when Fury happens to be motivated and excited about boxing. Wait too long and you risk him getting depressed again and not wanting to fight anymore. Klitschko took zero tune ups before fighting AJ. Two tune ups for Fury is fairly reasonable. I personally expected more, but I understand Frank Warren's rationale that Fury is at his best mentally right now, so no need to wait until next year.

That would be the day. I think AJ beats Povetkin and Fury beats Wilder by points, Hearn busts a nut setting up UK superfight Fury vs AJ. I don't care about AJ but I hope Wilder KO's Fury.

Klitschko was a model professional though who was fit and healthy at all times. Fury has just come off 2 years of treating his body and mind like crap.

If Fury comes through his next fight, looks fit and switched on then my reservations towards Wilder v Fury will be gone, but at this current moment in time i'm basing my opinion of the fight on the only showing i've seen of Tyson Fury since his return, which as mentioned was a truly horrendous fight against an irrelevant cruiserweight. He didn't remotely look ready for a gatekeeper there, let alone the #1/2 heavyweight in the world.

I reckon AJ and Hearn are behind the scenes fuming at Warren and Fury for making this fight.
If Deontay beats Fury he has a major ace in negotiations for his next round with Hearn plus AJ will take a huge lossin popularity due to him not fighting Wilder when he was guaranteed $50 mill plus an upside which he himself asked for.

Even in the USA Wilder can only pull in 1.2 million viewers (the fight against Ortiz peaked at 1.2 million) that is for a free view fight, the rest of the world doesn't even watch Wilder, in Europe Wilder vs Ortiz was watched by thousands rather than millions. In the UK even Hughie Fury can pull in 3 million viewers for a domestic level fight (Hughie Fury vs Sam Sexton was watched by over 3 million) The fact is that Wilder isn't the big draw he claims to be.

Lets just hope that fight doesnt happen yet...Let it happen after Fury beats a good top 10 guy in the division first

Fury, in his current state, is a bum until he fights a top 5 HW. Wilder is best an opportunist for wanting to fight someone who like Fury assuming Fury knows what he is doing
