Which Organisation or Ranking structure is the most prestigious?

I would like to know (regardless of who everyone has as a personal favourite fighter) what ranking system or organisation has the most sway over peoples opinions when it comes to saying who is better than who.

Do some people see some organisations as more prestigious than others? I.e. The Ring over WBC?

Does the fighter make the title?

Does there need to be a better ranking structure in place, one that supersedes all of the others?

WBC is the most prestigious; IBF is the most consistent with enforcing rules.

I didn't know that about the IBF. What makes you say that?

They don't **** around with mandatories and their deadlines. GGG getting stripped was a recent example of this.

TBRB is the best ranking system, Boxrec is good if resume is your thing. The Ring has no credibility anymore.

WBC do favours for Haymon, WBA for Hearn, WBO for Warren and Arum, so their rankings should be taken with a pinch of salt. IBF don't really do favours so the others I mentioned don't go for it all that much so you end up with ****ty mandatories, rankings all over the place.

I'd say the ring title. But technically the ring isn't an organization. As Randall put it, the WBO has Arum and Hearn in their pockets. The WBC was ran by Don King for years and the IBF rarely put on big fights. So The WBA just has become a joke with all of those champions per division so I'd have to say the IBF out of the 4 and they are nothing to brag about either.

Good point. Their No1 in HW is vacant though, I've not heard anything about an eliminator?????

What's all this about WBO Super Champion now though? Are the WBO going the down the route of the champion being called the Super Champion or is it the same as WBA?

The WBC is the most high profile one, although they are very corrupt. The least corrupt (at least in the public eye) is the IBF, they actually follow their rules for the most part, I wish they improved their ranking system tho.

The WBC is the direct lineage of the Pre 1962 Era and the most prestigious and IBF are top tier

                    The WBO is low tier

The WBA is dog**** tier but it has the history behind it so you need to have it around your waist
