Why do I give a damn if he was a woman beater? It's terrible yes, but I don't look to any celebrity as some sort of moral compass. I'm a fan of boxing not the nobel laureate of human civility and womens rights.

It would be a bit embarrassing for Pacquiao to have Floyd promoting or advising him, given all their history and him being a great in his own right.

It'd be sort of like a guy fcuking another guys wife, and then giving the husband tips on how to pleasure his wife better.

"Pride's gonna be the death of you"; embarrassing or not, it won't hurt Manny to take Floyd's call.

Beyond that, Manny's not going to sign with Floyd anyway; Iole is saying that Michael Koncz is out of the picture, with 'Chavit' Singson now looking after Manny's affairs (Wikipedia is what it is, but Pacquiao may now have a legit businessman looking after his affairs).

Floyd calls to see how many is doing, asks if he's really got his freedom, and then Haymon and Singson get into contact to simply make sure that everything is ok.

Floyd's not going to fight Manny, but he can help get him a few more paydays to clear things up with; Floyd knows Stephen Espinoza, Espinoza has featured Mikey Garcia's last how many fights, Espinoza has also featured Errol Spence Jr, and both need events to feature in.

Pacquiao-Spence Jr in Texas is likely too much of an ask, but Pacquiao vs Mikey Garcia, at 140lbs (Mikey should be able to petition the IBF to delay his mandatory @135lb), in Las Vegas could be the event to ride out on.

Heck, Floyd could help set up Pacquiao vs Broner, and end up with two more PPV paydays for Pacquiao before he goes with politics full time.
