Loma could force Arums hand, but it ain't happening this fall. As far as Lomachenko wiping the floor with Mikey, that ain't happening. Lomachenko gave up 15 lbs to Linares on fight night, and he had his hands full. No disrespect to Linares, hes a good lightweight, but he ain't Mikey Garcia. Who is bigger than Linares. There a weight ceiling for all fighters, Lomachenko is pushing his at 135. Mikey may be exceeding his at 147. Henry Armstrong met his at 160, Sugar Ray Robinson at 175, Oscar De La Hoya at 160. Some summits can't be reached when great little guys, fight great bigger guys.
Mickey & lomo BOTH top out at 140 period. Over 140 they both won't be able to handle. Oh & de la hoya couldn't compete at 160, 154 was his limit.

I think Bud is the bigger draw & Bud has more fights he can make without top shank, I mean top rank.

id say the fight gets made with little problems, i dont see ducking here, maybe paranoia

the only thing holding it up is the injury

He was still winning at 154, 160 was to far. Sugar Ray Robinson lost to Maxim at 175, Armstrong never won the middleweight championship losing to Zivic. De La Hoya won a title at 160, but he had exceeded his weight ceiling. Hopkins made that glaringly obvious. Like most on this forum you're looking to correct or argue, not interested. As far as Loma at 140, he may be in to deep at 135. I could have added Arguello move to 140, and losing to Pryor. Maybe Conn's failed attempt at heavyweight against Louis, but that would be beating a dead horse.

Mikey has major beef with Arum! I doubt he'll ever go to ESPN, and I really can't blame him! Arum cost him 2 years of his career! I think it would be easier to get Spence to come to ESPN, than Mikey!

Bud can't do anything without Top Rank (Arum's) blessing!

What is funny about all this, is out of Lomas last 4 fights, 3 of them were against fighters with different promotional outfits. One of those 4 had a falling out with Arum like Mikey did.

Out of Mikey's last 4 fights, all of them have been against PBC brand fighters.

Blame Arum all you want, but it was the PBC and Showtime who have seemed to forget Lomas and Crawford's names. Loma is only talked about by any of them unless directly asked. I guarantee you that after Lomas next fight, they will talk about Garcia.

Arum seems to be very confident in his guys skills.

How much you think is ESPN budget for the fight
