    What fight were you watching?

Kovalev broke his ribs with a jab. And Boone got obliterated in the rematch.

Alvarez is more deserving than any other contender of a title shot. How frustrating it must have been, being ranked #1 for nearly three years, watching guys well below you getting cracks at the title.

I wish him well, and this fight ought to be a good barometer of where Kovalev is.

Great fight made who cares? I wont read the comments first, we know the haters will hate. On a serious note, Browne and Alvarez deserve to fight the belt holders right now.
Any mixture of these guys are GREAT for the fans: Krusher, Adonis, Bivol, Browne, Alvarez, Beterbiev, Jack, Gvozdyk, hell Yarde in a few fights.

I really wish Ward would come back and go to Russia & Canada. Bivol would be the only one Id give a chance to challenge Ward.

Alavrez is a pretty good boxer who come for the win! He's undefeated, with long reach and he's also one of the biggest 175 pound...But a little bit rusty after one year off.

                Good fight!

Everybody knows body weakness on Kovalev, but he's still the top dog at the division in my eyes. He's a terrific finisher and definitively the bigger puncher of the two. Sooner or later, if he hurt's Alvarez, that's game over!

                Krusher by KO 8

But seriously who did Browne beat to be on that list and considered a threat?

You have gotta be one of the most bias, deluded fans around here. Browne is not top level, Alvarez is way more skilled and has been ducked by Stevenson for years now. Browne hasn't beaten one single legit top contender. Browne is not some kind of boogie man. If he fights Kovalev, Bivol, Gvozdyk or Beterbiev he gets beat. You should try seeing boxing from a world wide perspective some time instead of just blatantly hyping ever single US pro.

Exactly. All Browne has done up until now is padded his undefeated record fighting scrubs and fringe contenders. The first legit threat he faces, I'd be surprised if he wasn't wiped out. Maybe he is world level but he certainly hasn't proved it yet.
Also, how do you duck a guy who can't fight because he has legal problems?
