gennedy missed more jabs then he landed. Why does everyone talk about a jab that got neutralized by Canelo? Canelo clearly outboxed, landed more punches & landed the Power Punches. This fight was a clear Canelo win. As for "not enough to take the belts off a champion" go look at how Hopkins was robbed in the Taylor fight.

Your entire f@cking argument doesn’t make sense. Like your own dumb ass said; it’s based on your opinion and other dumb ass boxing fan boys like YOU. And your a punk ass in my book if you need to take PED’s to get a competitive advantage aka Povetkin & Ortiz. Joshua probably juicing too. But his dumb ass probably needs Fast Eddie to stick the needle up his ass for him.FACT...AJ's resume eclipses Wilders. Just because AJ chose to fight those guys, he still fought and he won. There is no way you can dispute that.
Wilder clearly DUCKED Klitschko...that is pretty much the general opinion of pretty much the entire world outside of Wilder fans. AJ didn't, FACT.
FACT, Molina troubled Wilder in the 2nd and 3rd - clearly wobbles Wilder (albeit Wilder did win) but Molina had nothing for AJ. NOT A THING. He looked like he was cowering away on the ropes.
Will you dispute that Ortiz, given 15-20 more seconds, would have beaten Wilder?
Punk ass Povetkin??? The guy has one loss...to one of the greatest HW's of all time.
You say that Wilder has had to fight fighters due to last minute changes, what about AJ beating Takam? Highly rated fighter but was beaten easily.
You only suck on Deontay's **** because you don't have any other Heavyweights champs. AJ doesn't want Wilder, he wants the belt and when Fury walks through Wilder, AJ will want Fury.
The centre of Heavyweight boxing is ENGLAND. Not Alabama.

Bro he didn’t win the fight he allowed himself to be positioned and bullied. I agree it was not always effective aggression but Canelo was constantly yielding ground. If Canelo threw 20 jabs and landed 17 of them that is incredibly impressive and great Accuracy butif GGG threw 200 and only landed 20 he still landed more jabs than Canelo. The little Canelo did was more effective aesthetically but GGG manoeuvred him pretty much where he wanted. To no avail admittedlygennedy missed more jabs then he landed. Why does everyone talk about a jab that got neutralized by Canelo? Canelo clearly outboxed, landed more punches & landed the Power Punches. This fight was a clear Canelo win. Keep in mind that Ortiz is a southpaw, with power and skills. Has AJ been in the ring with someone like that. He looked terrible in his last two fights, imagine what a southpaw like Ortiz will make AJ look and will he be able to adjust like Wilder did.Comment

I think you’ll find that Hearn didn’t change the path at all but that Ortiz thought he could obtain a belt from Wilder so went down their route. Also didn’t help that there appeared to be little appetite for Ortiz-AJ.
There is an element of truth behind the hyperbole of your last remark - namely that Hearn will try to take calculated risks only - but to suggest that there are “no risky fights” whatsoever is fabrication and to imply that Ortiz is any riskier than other recent bouts AJ has been involved in is ludicrous.Comment

Canelo didn’t do enough to draw that fight, let alone win it. The man has skills but appeared to have no game plan once he gassed out and I thought he was mediocre after the early rounds.gennedy missed more jabs then he landed. Ortiz isn’t mobile enough to cause AJ any serious problems beyond a marginally troublesome stance. AJ isn’t Wilder; he’s an actual boxer and Ortiz’ set of skills aren’t enough to trouble a young, powerful, half-decent boxer if the former lacks the physical attributes to back it up.Comment

Wilder is blessed with Aleticism but he doesn’t use his height and speed to his advantage and he has balance issues. I am not doubting Luis is an exceptional boxer but very slow and depends on counter punching especially if he is weary of a fighters power. Joshua’s fight against Parker was a dull fest but considering how fairly quick Parker is and to see how easy it was for him to catch Whyte clean I was impressed how Joshua evaded his combinations by stepping back . He fought under instructions and although his natural instinct is to attack he was reserved( too passive to be fair) Wilder could have fought Ortiz like Malik Scott but really controlled the fight with his jab. Wilder is tall but doesn’t have a presence. AJ is a unit . Look at every fight he has he intimidates all his opponents and takes the centre of the ring. I’m not just saying this I don’t think Ortiz stands a chance. If I did I would say. If Dillian can take his power then he beats Ortiz too although Whyte doesn’t impress me though.Comment
