    If Spence vs Garica......

Happened after the Lipinets fight, would it be seen differently? Two of the last three fights for Garcia have been at 140, but his latest was obviously at 135. But say Garcia goes up straight after the Lipinets fight, what is being said about this fight? Is it still the same? Or people will say Garcia is only going up one more weight class?

Everyone knows Mikey looks soft at 140.there's no illusion taking place. 135 is ideal for him.

Definitely, he's strong at 135 and 140 looks like his peak. But if he went up to 147 after two consecutive fights at 140, at least people couldn't say he is coming up from 135. Still would be the heavy underdog regardless.

Spence never sought Mikey out. Mikey called him out over and over and over again. If a fair offer is made to Spence to fight Mikey he would be crazy not to take the fight. It would be the biggest payday of his career. A good win over Mikey makes him a bigger star than ever.

Not faulting Spence at all. But is Spence fighting Garcia all that different than Crawford facing Gamboa? Gamboa had one fight at LW, one fight at SFW, and six fights at FW coming into the fight. Would Garcia need to fight just a fringe contender at WW for the fight to be more acceptable?

Maybe you have to as good as prime Floyd and Manny to make people think otherwise.
