I think what folks need to understand is that Fury and Warren are pushing for this.

Even while understanding that Tyson may be less than his old self.

They see it as a win-win and I am inclined to agree.

He fights Wilder and gets mollywhopped, no biggy cuz he is still courageous in defeat and came back a little too soon.

He beats Wilder and screw AJ's three belts, Fury is THE BADDEST MAN ON THE PLANET, he is the guy that WASNT AFRAID OF THE BOMBER AND SHOT HIM DOWN.

And, he is much, much richer either way.

And, oh yeah, Warren and Haymon team up to eat Hearn's lunch right in his face.

    It's a no-brainer really.

Lol, Fury has taken the last 2 years off and still showed up fat as a whale. Even if he magically comes in shape, his boxing skills will be incredibly rusty.

          THIS!

If Fury can get into better shape than his last bum outing, work on his stamina and actually throw some punches, he will manage to outbox Wilder all night long.

Fury mustn't get too overenthusiastic. He might feel ready. But he needs fights to really see.

Lool everybody already has. But it would’ve been hilarious to see the reaction if it was aj close to finalising the fight

Hatton didn't need 3 tuneups every time he ballooned up in weight.

Well, Wilder gonna get that lineal belt. Maybe he wont get as low balled in nevotiations. Is the fight in the UK?

It’s a trash fight but honestly, someone had to fight him eventually. Thought his handlers would wait a little longer for him to regain “form” (if he ever does?). F uck it, hopefully this fight makes the fight bigger if Wilder gets past him.

If Fury somehow wins..oh mah gawd that event between Aj and him would be near worth flying out for.

I want Fury to win just to shake s hit up and stop this idiotic nonsense. I hope Fury beats them both..just as a fan of s hit shows.

I don't believe he will be close to ready enough. He was out a long time and wasn't exactly living clean.

Fury, Wilder and Joshua are the top guys, if Fury is to fight either one of them I'd much rather it be the best Fury that's possible. For the fights sake.

But if he thinks is he's ready, and so do his team, then that's the main thing.

There are a lot of comments about Fury being fat and out of shape here. Seems that a lot of people don't realize that he's already lost all the weight and looks pretty fast. He's been pretty dedicated to his come-back and at only 29 years of age is still young. I'd say with complete confidence that by Nov/Dec he will be at top form and it wouldn't surprise my in the least if he frustrates Wilder and walks away with an easy win if the fight gets made.
