There is a misconception out there that Anthony Joshua holds the IBF, IBO, WBO, & WBA HW titles. Joshua actually holds the IBF, IBO, & WBO HW titles. And he actually holds the WBA “SUPER” HW title. The WBA sanctioning body recognizes the IBF, WBO, & WBC titles and when a fighter holds at least (2) of the (3) belts, they are awarded the WBA “SUPER” HW title. Joshua has the WBO & IBF so he was awarded the WBA “Super” belt.

Manual Carr is actually the WBA HW title belt holder. He won the vacant belt back in November 2017 over Alexander Ustinov. He has 4 losses on his resume via Vitali Klitschko in 2012 (1st title shot), Alexander Povetkin in 2014, Johann Duhaupas and Mairis Briedis in 2015. He has only fought 3 times since the last loss but he picked up (2) belts, the WBA world HW title mentioned earlier and the WBA international HW title. Next upcoming fight, he defends his WBA belt against Fres Oquendo at the end of September.

That’s why Whyte wants to fight Carr, to get the other major belt in the division; the WBA HW World title. Why fight Ortiz who doesn’t have any belts when you can fight Carr who has the WBA belt and the WBA international belt making it a better fight overseas. And possibly a future fight to be the Undisputed HW champion against Joshua next year.

Ortiz has ZERO relevance if he gets a shot at Wilder bc Whyte has a guaranteed title shot so long as he doesnt lose after Breazeale gets his ( barring Wilder is still a champion ) shot bc hes the 1st mandatory position !

Whyte defeating Ortiz does not make a Wilder fight faster , why cant you Wilder fans understand that , i know its difficult for you guys but come 'on ....?

Beating Ortiz makes Whyte the bonafied #3 heavyweight in a lot of peoples opinion. Thus he can't be denied a title shot by any champion without them being considered to be ducking. At the moment, he is at least a year from being in position to force a title shot as a mandatory unless he gets made mando by the WBO or fights Breazeale in an eliminator (not likely unless Hearn can convince Breazeale that the money is worth giving up another title shot). The IBF removed him from their rankings as a result of him turning down the Pulev fight. WBC may do that as well eventually.

But he needs to do something because as I've said here numerous times, the WBC will not force Wilder to fight anybody.

Just look at the history of the organization. They only force mandatories for money fights or for unconnected champs. Wilder has free reign with them. Just like many other champs in the past.

I guess you were unaware Whyte just defeated Parker and had 2 WBC elimination fights but HE has to do something ?

He CANT be denied anyway he IS the 2nd mandatory ? (Its really not a hard concept , i promise )

His WBC ranking has nothing to do with other sanctioning bodies bc Ortiz is NOT ranked in other organizations !

If anything the better you are the more likely Wilder wont fight you ( his resume shows this )so its irrelevant and ****** trying to tell everyone Whyte defeating Ortiz makes him a guaranteed opponent bc he ALREADY has that .....

O.K once again this is a waste of time im conversing the same guys who have inability to comprehend and just want to see a Ortiz vs Whyte fight that has ZERO implications wheather Whyte gets a title shot !

I like Whyte, he’s aware of his own limitations and that he needs to make big improvements.

I thought that although he was off balance frequently against Parker, his jab looked great, so technically he’s heading in the right direction.

From here I think Charr would be a backward step, but as he says Joshua, Wilder, Fury, Povetkin are busy, and I thought Miller and Pulev were going to fight? (Is that still on the table?)

So that leaves Ortiz, or Chisora... he seems reluctant to get back in with Del, so Ortiz would be the best opponent out there. I don’t expect Whyte to risk that though, not with a big money Joshua rematch on the horizon.

Whyte is correct.. Fury is washed-up and can’t compete with the TOP level anymore. He will be looking to cash-out his linage title to the highest paying dude.. Choose your foe wisely.

Charr must fight Oquendo then he's FORCED to fight Miller ? . I would think the WBA will give Charr a voluntary bout setting-up a $$pay-day fight for Charr.
