Felt he could've had a better career despite starting boxing late. His downfall was likely being pummeled with illegal wraps twice, and he was also a bit of a headcase. When things got tough, he mentally seemed to pack it in.

nothing at all wrong with the career of kermit cintron. he made a lot of money over the years. he could punch and he was moved into exciting fights, often as an opponent, and for the most part he delivered.

leapfrogging out of the ring against williams aside, of course.
