    Very true..but the body also has to be fit for the journey......The mind can only do so much

      With all things equal yes. But people underrate physical genetics. Some people just don't get as tired as others doing the exact same action. Look at Salvador Sanchez, the guy was a genetic freak when it came to stamina. Does that mean that Patrick Ford wanted it less? No, he just hit his ceiling.

          Not really. All things equal I think a boxer's stamina is more important. If a boxer is good enough to win the early rounds and he doesn't run out of gas he should continue to win late rounds. If both boxers are equally tired then the mental aspect comes into play.
