Comments Thread For: Hearn: Buatsi Beats Yarde All Day Long, Twice On Sundays!

Eddie Hearn has outlined the dream fight he would like for Joshua Buatsi sooner rather than later. The Matchroom Boxing boss sat at ringside as the Rio Olympic bronze medallist iced Andrejs Pokumeiko inside a round to win the vacant WBA International light-heavyweight title, exclusively live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Yarde is a fraud waiting to be burst by an unknown journeyman, he will never ever take a fight with an undeafeated puncher

I can't see this fight happening anytime soon. Hopefully Buasti gets to fight English titlist Liam Conroy before the years out. Fa$t £ddie should also put him on a few of his US cards.

Frank won’t allow that fight because Yarde is his best prospect and doesn’t have a decent defence. Either Yarde needs another 15 journeymen or he will not fight for a title until the opposition is weak.

Hearn should give up trying to embarrass Frank and Yarde and stage Burton-Buglioni 2 and Buatsi vs Callum Johnson

          I’d go along with that.

I think Yarde is probably still learning but what he’s learning is hard to tell. It’s probably happening in the gym.

At the minute Yarde is no different than those British fighters of
the early 00’s who would have long unbeaten runs and then get beaten by the first properly world-level talented fighter they faced.

Of course for every fighter like that one did make the grade such as Hatton or even Kell Brook.

I’d put money on Burton beating Yarde never mind an elite prospect in Buatsi.

Right now I still think yarde takes it. But they’ll need to fight tomorrow for him to win. Frank obviously wants to wait until 2020 to match yarde with someone decent and by then it will be far too late

Am actually shocked that Warren doesn't want this fight for Yarde now, I would take Yarde as of now just because he has more experience, has been fighting much longer. But their hesitation about entertaining a Buatsi fight is worrying, especially with the way Team Buatsi looked so confident in regards to taking that fight now.

Don’t know any of these promoters or managers personally but I know Tunde Yarde’s manager on a personal level. If you have attended pea**** gym in Canning Town (London) you would have seen him rotting away at the gym training anyone from me to you or any Joe blow. He has seriously put in the work but if you hear him in an interview you know he is in absolutely in no rush to put him in with anyone. This is his meal ticket and he doesn’t even try and hide it

Yarde vs Buatsi in 2025 in September or October depending location availability

Yeah i saw a couple of interviews that Tunde did, he was too relax in the way they wanted Yarde future shaped. They seem to have their plan and they would take their time to excute it. Fair enough but am still shocked they look at Buatsi as a threat.

                    I think you're spot on.

Yarde looks unconvincing even against the stiffs Frank's currently lining up for him. First top level guy that he meets will beat him. He's so open.
