Mikeys also one of the few people actually willing to fight Spence. As skilled a fighter as he is, Spence is too big and it's a mismatch.

Two good fighters sometimes stymie eachother. Might not be as eventful as sum might think. Still I’d have Errol winning, unless somehow Mikey gets that extra credit for doing better than he should have.

Spence should be chasing Crawford instead of ignoring him

If this fight happens we will never see Lomachenko-Mikey Garcia with both of them at their best...this is a mismatch and it will ruin Mikeys career.

But what I was saying is Mikey’s been around elite World Championship Boxing his entire life through his father , brother , Vargas. I think he was sparring PAC and fighters of that quality as a teenager. His boxing IQ is probably through the charts. He’s probably forgotten more about the sport then Spence has even learned whonstarted the sport at what 15 or so.

Mikey’s like a Mayweather , Barry Bonds , Ken Griffey , Payton Manning type of athlete immersed in the top level of their sport since they were in diapers there’s a reason those guys are often the best at their respective sport

It might be a long shot but but if Mikey can survive Spence’s Power , Athleticism He may be able to outbox Spence who has shown that he’s hittable

Does Mikey lose probably but I don’t think it’s the same as Brook /Golovkin where Kell was a dead man walking I give him a chance

No He’s not ignored Arum won’t entertain a Garcia / Loma fight or Spence / Crawford fight because in both cases his fighter has a chance at losing , Arum will do what he always does and keep that sh.it in house
I agree Mikey has the higher boxing IQ ,but to me that's his only advantage in this fight. My perspective is more inline with R Garcia and Big G that Mikey should fight a lesser 147 pounder to make sure he can handle to size difference
As far as Spence in camp with FMJ, yes it was when he got out of jail (1st time around) . Spence was the better man in the beginning and FMJ got him in the end. The fact remains FMJ praised his talents and wanted him in camp going forward. I feel if ES can hang with FMJ, and earn his respect - immediate respect, whatever Mikey brings to the table won't be anything ES hasn't seen before. I think this fight is gonna look like the Algeri fight and ES walks through his shots . Before you lose it, yes I'm aware that Mikey is a hard puncher I just don't think it's going to be enough to deter Spence from coming forward and walking him down.

Arum has already said that Lomachenko's next fight will be in December against the winner of Beltran-Pedraza - and then sometime next year he might consider Lomachenko vs Garcia.

So what is Mikey supposed to do....wait around and not take a fight????

There are a lot of other guys Mikey can fight in the interim before fighting Lomachenko, perhaps Danny Garcia or someone else at that level. I know that I have been wrong many times so I could well be wrong in thinking that Mikey Garcia has no business being in the same ring with Errol Spence. The public and pundits alike were wrong in fearing for Cassius Clay's life when he fought Sonny Liston the first time. That was mainly because everyone thought Liston was much bigger, but in fact, he was smaller than Clay and not nearly as athletic. In this case, Mikey is much smaller that Spence and not nearly as athletic.

As an aside, Clay became Ali after the first fight so Liston has the distinction of losing to both Cassius Clay and to Muhammad Ali.

I know odlh was 35 you jive ass. Nobody told odlh to inexplicably weigh 145 instead of 47. Mikey’s also a capable 140 so even though it’s technically a 2 weight class jump, it isn’t really like when Pac-Man did it without ever seeing jww. Who should Errol fight instead that’s actually an option then? This is the best option for Errol for a December fight at 147 and that’s the bottom line! Is that clear!!?

Arum is trolling fans by mentioning those amazing hypothetical future matchups that he has no intention of actually making. He does it EVERY TIME one of his guys fights...
When will you learn Mikey is not top pound for pound. Mikey knows he will be destroy by Spence, and the moron fans will get him Credit. If pacman vs floyd happend anything can. Loma just fough Linares a Goldenboy fighter, why wouldn’t Arum allow Crawford or Loma to school Mikey. Crawford has fough sevral PBC fighters with no issue.

Mikey gets schooled by Lomachenko and Crawford. Gets destroyed by Spence.
