Consummate super lightweight road warrior Steve The Dragon' Claggett (27-5-1, 17 KOs) climbed up off the canvas from an opening round flash-knockdown last night at the Powerade Centre in Brampton, Ontario, and came roaring back to defeat previously unbeaten Petros Ananyan (13-1-2, 6 KOs) via unanimous decision. It was the main event of an exciting gala presented by Lee Baxter Promotions aired live in Canada on Super Channel dubbed "SUPERBOX LIVE'. All three judges saw the fight the same at 95-94 for the Canadian charge.

Wrong on both counts. Despite being from Russia, I believe Ananyan was the "A" side and it was his promoter staging the card.

          Second, didn't land significant punches?

I caught it on Fite.TV and had Clagett winning 6 or 7 rounds. He was simply throwing and landing more punches in almost every round. The work to the body was top notch. It wasn't a difficult fight to score imo.

Pls watch the fight carefully and don’t be too emotional , Claggett is going nowhere as well as Ananyan . Claggett is from Canada and he was given a gift

Emotion doesn't play a role in scoring. It's clean, effective punching that carries the day and this fight wasn't a difficult one to score. Sorry you had trouble with it. Also, there was a Canadian, American and Italian judge, all who had it scored the same (because it was an easy fight to score).
