Yeah that’s the rumour that I heard earlier, Hearn is trying everything he could to get Whyte his WBC shot, issue is would this fight be on showtime? Since Wilder is a PBC fighter. Aside from the politics, it would be a better pay than whatever Wilder would make from the Breazeale fight, better exposure, getting rid of Whyte who might get the Joshua April 2019 fight and firmly put Wilder in a better negotiation (If they haven’t already agree a Joshua deal) going into a Joshua PPV.

How is fighting a guy on a platform with zero subcribers going to give Deontay Wilder exposure? Especially when Wilder and his camp having just done 1.2m homes on their last fight, and Sky Sports already willing to buy Wilder's UK rights on the market.

Dollar figure is whatever, but Wilder gets a voluntary defense on an established network, while still keeping 85%-90% of whatever money is cleared on the event for the fighters.
