How many rds does Mikey have to last to get a moral victory

My guess is anything past 7 rds, is a moral victory for Mikey. Mikey's stock would rise and Spence's will drop. I have Spence winning by 9th tko

He is gonna get hit to the body, take a knee, and let himself be counted out just like Spence's last opponent. A huge waste of time.

At the end of the day the W is all that matters

But disagree sometimes There can be moral victories for the loser and their stock can go up

But with Mikey he needs to at least go the distance and make it competitive but i wouldn’t write Mikey off quite yet

Mikey is a little fighter, but he's - by far - best opponent Errol will have faced. Kell Brook is a good WW, but that victory has an enormous asterisk on it...the fight was 4-4 after 8 rounds and Kell - predictably - gassed after moving up 2 weight classes, getting his orbital bone broken, having surgery to repair the fracture, and then moving back down 2 weight classes. That's some Pacman-level matchmaking

This will not be a steamroll fight because Mikey is an intelligent fighter.

I do like Errol to win by stoppage similar to Brook fight. This time around the size difference (and not opportunistic matchmaking) will be responsible for the stoppage.

The verdict is not out yet on Errol since he hasn't really be tested. Can he get to someone who can time opponents? Will he have to change his attack since Mikey will probably time and counter him at some point? Can Errol adjust his attack? Nonetheless Errol is too big and has too good of stamina for a guy moving up 2 weight classes.

To be clear, I can't envision a scenario where Errol beats Terrence. Terrence is a much better fighter (all around) and flat out likes to fight. I'll take Terrence in a bout where Errol has his moments, but Terrence makes adjustments and wins 8-4ish

He already won by getting in the ring with Spence. No pressure on him. The one risk I see would be him losing his “0”

Really no point for the fight to happen. No demand either.
I like Mikey but he ain’t Duran. Spence ain’t pass prime De la Hoya.
Hell Loma doesn’t even want to fight oldie Pac at 140lbs which make more sense than Mikey fighting Spence.

Funny you say that because I was actually going to mention Jacobs and Maidana in my original post

But yeah i think fighters can definitely earn moral victories in the sport if their expected to get beat down but are able to hold their own and make it competitive their stock goes up
