I agree that Robert won't consciously let him take a beating. But, the Garcias are also very proud guys and that won't bode well against a guy like Errol. Add to that the fact that Errol only needs one punch to fracture something on somebody and I just don't like this for Mikey.

I like both fighters a lot and I just don't want to see something I know is a money grab (and not much else) go horribly south.

But, if both guys get thru unscathed, it will make them both PPV stars and add to the legend of both.

Robert Garcia may let other fighters take beatings, but he will be more cautious with his brother LOL. And if he won't stop the fight, his dad will be right there getting on his a** to stop it. Yesterday was the first fight where Mikey's dad wasn't in his corner as it was Pita in there instead. Thought that was interesting. Passing of the torch type of moment there.

For a smaller guy taking this type of challenge, he just needs a few moments and his stock will rise. You just can't get completely dominated like Rigo did vs Lomachenko or JMM vs Mayweather. And really, JMM's stock didn't drop one bit since he went all 12.

I don't think its a money grab, I think Garcia is chasing greatness and Spence is defending his honor so it is what it is.

It's all wrong for Mikey. This fight will be like B-Hop vs Trinidad except not as long. Spence is too big and strong. Mikeys body at 147 like Trinidads at 160 won't fill out right and will create problems.

Mikey better add some strength exercises and push it to a whole new level if he expects to beat Spence. No way is he getting in there and beating the bigger guy with out pushing his cardio to a whole new level and find some much needed hidden power.

Stylistically, Mikey should be favored... But he’s too small. Size matters, we have weight divisions for a reason. Mikey won’t carry the same punch at 147 and Errol will break him down because of that
