Comments Thread For: Joshua vs. Usyk Showdown is Future Possibility, Says Hearn

ANTHONY JOSHUA could be set for a clash with cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk in April. The Ukrainian has emerged as a possible opponent for the Brit's Wembley date next year if a deal cannot be agreed with Deontay Wilder. WBA, IBF, IBO and WBO heavyweight champion Joshua faces Alexander Povetkin, 38, on September 22 at the national stadium.

Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Given all the horse***** that Eddied has been spewing, we're suppose to believe another line of his bulsh? Roberto Cammarelle made AJ look slow and uncoordinated in their Olympic 2012 title bout; Usyk will make AJ look blind and crippled. Usyk = cat like reflexes. AJ = oaf like reflexes. There is no way to prepare AJ for what Usyk brings to the ring. The fight would be no better than a comedy act at best. Usyk, "AJ. your shoe's untied" AJ, (looks down at shoe to get belted with Usyk's uppercut) "Thanks." And on and on. Short of Usyk grabbing AJ's wrists and beating him about the face with this own fists, there will be nothing that Usyk won't be able to do to AJ.

Can’t see this before 2020, let’s say bellew Usyk at cruiserweight end of this year , he will then want a couple fights at heavyweight before stepping in AJ?

Usyk is a pretty darn good CW, but he lacks that get out of jail free card - power.

Still not convinced that prime David Haye, who had power at HW, is a lesser fighter than Usyk. Usyk puts up a decent fight against AJ / Wilder before being put down, Ortiz probably beats him too. He can beat Parker though
