You don't duck a fight by taking on a more difficult opponent instead.

It's only a duck if you avoid a tough guy to take on an easier guy.

I think most people would agree that Ortiz is a sterner test than either Whyte or Parker. Especially if they saw yesterday's fights.

Exactly agreed, that’s why Whyte taking Parker is more difficult than taking on Ortiz who was coming back from a KO loss. Especially with the protection the WBC (We be crooks - According to James Toney) were prepared to give Wilder even if Whyte beats Ortiz.

Did you see the fights yesterday? Parker looked awful.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find many people who agree with you that Parker is more difficult than Ortiz.

Because whyte is a difficult fighter, i mean Wilder was offered 4 million dollars to fight him and by your logic he ducked that fight to fight ortiz for less money. Do i think Parker and Whyte are a more difficult fight? Absolutely and their resume also says so, as good as Ortiz was his resume doesnt say much.

Yours would be a minority opinion. You could do a poll on NSB right now and Luis Ortiz would be seen as a tougher fight than either Parker or Whyte.

Not really a fan of polls. Based on their respective resumes am going with what they have done and achieved in the ring.

I'll go by the eye test on this one.

Luis Ortiz with his Cuban school lineage from La Finca looks like a more refined, dangerous fighter than the crude Whyte or the ineffective Parker.

                    Enter Joesph Parker instead.
Of course he did!! The man who brutally battered Dave Allen is no match for Dillian Whyte.

Forget Dillian fought AJ, fought Parker, fought Browne - all world champions, and of course made offers to the guy who beat Ortiz.

they are scared to death of the real champ Ortiz!!

I favour Wilder to beat Joshua, that doesn't mean i don't Joshua are better than Wilder or hold him in higher regards due to his resume.
