Joseph Parker has to have the worst strategy in heavyweight history.

-He bravely goes to the UK to give up his belt without a second thought. (Although commendable IMO)

-He gave away a 6" reach advantage to AJ and tried to fight from the outside..... ???!!

-Takes on a dangerous opponent after losing his belt instead of taking an easy fight to get back in the win column.

-He abandons the bodywork midway in his fight with Whyte and spends the rest of it trying to land a straight right to the head, that misses cause he doesn't have a laser right hand.

-Fights with his hands down when he doesn't have stellar head movement.

-Doesn't go animal when he has Whyte in trouble in the 12th.

-Never seems to have his cardio & endurance right for the fight and fades easily.

-Always too friggen nice in the ring and out.

I'd like to say he needs a better trainer but have we seen the ceiling on JP? Is there room for improvement? Can he turn this all around?

IMO he took some serious body shots tonight. I think it gassed him and also made him keep his hands low.

He's never been that good and on top of that, he barely seems interested in the ring these days. Hardly a recipe for success.

No doubt, and early on he was dishing the same to Whyte but gave up on it midway.

White's jab was on point & his bodywork & strength on the oil inside tired Parker out early. I have no idea how either guy was able to end that fight standing.

Dead on, that's why Parker abandoning the body mid-fight and not going animal as soon as he had Whyte hurt in the 12th just shows that his problems are between the ears.

He showed pretty **** stamina. He looked gassed after the 4th round. I'm still a fan and I think getting a better trainer could help him work on those flaws. He's still young enough to where you can't count him out just yet.

He had a 6 week training camp. They said it was the best ever from the last 5 weeks but I don't think that's enough. He looked lethargic and was heavier than in the Aj fight someone told me

Most are mentioning his conditioning (which was evident) but will he be able to upgrade his technical skills and in the ring strategy, what shots to take, put together better combos, learn how to counterpunch, etc?

He has the speed and a decent chin (although he got rocked a bit today), and it's clearly evident that if he had a few more seconds in the 12th he would have had the comeback KO of the year after being routed the way he was. Too little too late tho.

I like him, I just wonder if we've seen his best. I may be wrong but I don't think his trainer is that good and comes up with good fight plans or mid fight adjustments for JP.

Think he made $2 mil for Fury, $3-5mil for Joshua, another million plus last night. Really dont think hes bothered, just set himself up for life
