  • Wilder and Miller both ran from British boxing

Can somebody explain to me why Wilder refused to attend Joshua/Parker. And why Miller refused to attend Whyte/Parker?

Both men were going to be paid, all expenses covered to commentate in these fights on Sky. They agreed to it and backed out.

Why are these Americans so scared of British boxers that they refuse to even be PAID to show up at their fights!?

They know that Brit fighters aren't interested in paying a fair purse and are too cowardly to fight in the U.S.

So why should they waste their time?

Don't get it either. Wilder wants to get paid but wants to put in no work.

When you are a popular figure, you command appearance money.

No matter where they went they could get paid

They could open a supermarket and get paid, doesn't mean they were running from Asda

Why Wilder refused to show up for Joshua/Parker? I think that is already well documented how he wouldn't have been able to come in the ring after the fight since it is some BBBOC rule or some ***** Hearn was saying. Joshua even told Hearn he didn't want Wilder just rushing the ring after the fight....Then Hearn said it wouldn't have been a problem since Joshua would have "invited" Wilder in the ring L-O-L.

So what was the point of going to the UK for that fight if he couldn't confront him after the fight?

Wilder's job is to train and get ready for fights.

His promoter and his management job is to raise his profile and make him more marketable.

He should really be working the US markets, get TV time, hang out with some basketball and football stars, and put that money into promoting his fights and look to fight in Vegas

He can't walk and chew gum at the same time? AJ was just here and was at b ball games and talk shows.
C'mon dude I'm a big Wilder fan but that sounds like a load of BS. You want to get paid do some work!

Yes, and the promoter/management controls all that.

You think AJ sets up his own schedule.

I'm saying Wilder (meaning his management) should have been courting the American markets boosting his profile there, it would give him much more leverage in negotiations.

Going over to the UK, only boost the AJ fight, not Wilder, and doesn't help him one bit in negotiations.
