Alvarez is a better than average fighter and he should watch the films of Ward when he fought Kovalev...he has a chance to possibly win this fight but more important it would show how much Kovalevstill has left in the tank... I would like to see Kovalev vs Zurdo (I only fight B fighters) Ramirez...

his promoter then said his team took the kovalev fight for the same type of money...

he might think kovalev is the easier fight...there are quotes from his team stating they would rather fight kovalev...

Kovalev is old. No matter what.

They're only a year apart. Though Kovalev did get finished once, he's not had a lot of hard fights whereas Alvarez is often grinding out decisions.

I like Alvarez a lot and it's too bad his path has taken him to Kovalev. I think he might have beaten Stevenson if the man hadn't ducked him for 3 years. This is Kovalev's fight to lose but I think Alvarez will take the upset if Kovalev isn't on point and ready.
