    Anyone care to explain that one? Mcgirt being a ****ty trainer doesn't count.

    he may have been thinking like the fighter he was, so he didn't want his fighter to get ko'd, i don't really know, if he didn't want his fighter to get hurt then he should have stopped the fight earlier on

      i always thought he was a overated trainer, but yea thats a good question. he probably figured he wasnt connecting, and probably wasnt gonna hurt or beat quintana. maybe he didnt want him to get knocked out?

        It was the same thing he was telling Tarver late in his fight with Hopkins. It's almost like he's being paid to sabotage his fighters thought process.

        That was awful cornerwork...and I didn't like Quintanas corner advice in the 12th either. "This is a round we have to win now...let your hands go." Had he been caught with a big shot it would have been a disgrace.

        McGirt = overrated trainer.

            Ya I was just gonna say that. He told Tarver the exact same ****. It's like, he get's just as discouraged as his fighters are.

                Mcgirt would be a good trainer if he didn't think he was some boxing god. Like, I hear him making up all of these strategies beforehand the fight and stuff. Like the Gatti strategy (hit him in the temple). He's the biggest goof.

                  I kind of agree with you on this one. Buddy McGirts fighters aren't doing so well lately.

                    He was simply concerned for his fighter and going for the knockout makes yourself extremely vulnerable to get knocked out when your already getting outboxed. I dunno I still think he's a good trainer, I mean come on his name is Buddy Mcgirt
