I love Sergio man, but his style relied on his movement. Even fresh off the Cotto loss he was no longer a threat to anyone. Now with years going by? Hell, even Chavez Jr. would beat the brakes off of him.

He has been out of the ring for 4 years and he is 43 years old. He can't beat anybody good now. Why comeback and hurt his great record?

I’m speaking as a ggg fan I wouldn’t want to see this it would make him look like a joke. I’ve defended a lot of things he’s got ***** for but this would be inexcusable.

If he came back it'd be to fight Canelo. Why would he fight GGG this time around? Doubt Golovkin would entertain the fight now, but we all know GBP would. Let's hope Sergio stays retired or shjt is about to get real deep.

Martinez was that dude but he was old and moving into retirement even when he was linear champ, at this point, the hook that thug rose used to knockout joanna could wash martinez with how his health rates at this point. the paul williams fight was his last truly great outing.

That 12th Round against JCC Jr was one of the most exciting moments for me watching this sport

If he really is coming back, which I don't even remotely believe, he should just fight a few no-hopes in Argentina and see how the field looks, because right now I don't see anything out there for him anywhere between 154-168.

What's he going to do? The only money fights are Golovkin, Canelo, and maybe Groves at 168, but he gets murdered by all three and they all have many better opportunities to pursue.
