from the article...The gorgeous venue located on the banks of Lake Ontario which was voted "one of the best concerts venues in North America", has played host to the world's most popular musical acts since it's opening in 1995 and now will hold it's first boxing event in what will be one of the biggest cards to take place this summer in all of Canada on Saturday, August 25th.

The answer to your question is in the very first sentence of the article. Come on, at least read the first sentence.

How is it a trash line up? Seems like you think more with emotional then logic. They obviously were never going to lure top flight opponents but this is a solid line of quality fighters for what this tournament is.

It's a crap line up man. Some guy famous for sparring McGregor and a bunch of nobodies. I will stick to wbss when it comes to tournaments.

Don't see it as premiere league Boxing.
It's a tournament designed for fringe contenders to advance further in their career.

Most of these guys are normally heading into being selected as an opponent to allow first rate prospects to shine.

This tournament allows guys on the same level to get some decent wins and be in a better position to land a decent money fight.

Also Felix Diaz the tournament favourite lost in the first round, so it's at least not completely predictable.
