We will have to wait and see! I wouldn’t be surprised if this became a November fight and Andrade still had a warm up before it now

I don't think the WBO allow a mandatory challenger or a champion to fight prior to their bout once s purse bid or terms have been agreed to fight.

I know a champion can't fight in-between a purse bid and their defence but the WBO rules aren't the clearest to follow so I may be wrong.

The purse bid was Friday, Andrade wasn't moved on to any other fight, and Eddie Hearn is sitting on at least $250m over the next two years.

Outside of an 'in association' mention before the main event, maybe, there will nary be a mention of Frank Warren at any point in the evening.

If this fight is in LA they are going to get boo'd. Neither fighter is an action fighter. Gonna be a lot of posturing and LA fans like to see Mexican style boxing.

He has another card planned and I can't remember where the **** he says it was.. I know he plans on putting a show on in Vegas and for some reason I want to say it's November but **** knows what he's gonna out on in Vegas cos right now he's not got anywhere near enough to put on a Vegas card

Not sure about this I believe Sky Sports had a contract with DAZN that should give them the fight part of the reciprocal agreement.

All of that was regarding Warren selling DAZN rights if he won a purse bid..

They never said the fight wouldn't be made ??

The rights aren't an issue.. as there isn't a purse bid so in effect Warren can just pop it on BT here and Eddie can show it on DAZN. Andrade isn't big time but he attracts more US viewers than Saunders would and it's the same vice versa. Everyone's happy..

50-50 imho, Saunders put a clinic on Lemieux but Andrade is very ankward, leaning towards Andrade by close decision.

I hope it's Chicago. Hell, it should be here in Cincinnati. I don't know why promoters overlook Cincinnati and think only Broner sells here. We have tons of local pro and amateur cards here. And everybody around here talks boxing just like they talk basketball, football, and baseball. When I lived in Detroit it was hard to find people to get together and watch a fight unless it was Floyd. We get together at the barbershop here and watch all the HBO, Showtime, and ESPN cards.

That's true yes sky do receive DAZN cards as part of the two way agreement. I was more using it as an example albeit a nonentity of one.

Must be some major money from Hearn for Frank to really not put up a fight in the purse bids to control rights. Either that or its what I think and his plan all along was to take hearns money for very little effort on his part

Yeah it'd be nice for Chicago to get some love and a nice big card .. but something tells me they're getting Vargas and booboo Vs Billy Joe is going elsewhere. Shame.

The World Boxing Organization has advised BoxingScene.com that a deal has been reached for Billy Joe Saunders' mandatory defense of his WBO middleweight title against undefeated challenger Demetrius Andrade. A purse bid had been scheduled for earlier today at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida.

You're too ******. Hearn was the one who cut the deal. You know, the British promoter? If Andrade wasn't with Hearn the fight most certainly goes to the UK. Hell, he even had to go to Germany for a bum. Haha.
