Floyd made manny pay for turning the fight down initially.

Come on daggum I assume you have some business experience. When you turn an offer down, sometimes you get more, sometimes less. Manny got less.

You come off as Floyd was obligated to keep the same deal in place once it was turned down. That simply isn't realistic in any situation or circumstance.

Manny made a move to try and get more and it backfired. It's really that simple.

How many times have we seen fighters make the same mistake? It's like you and others don't want to say manny made a mistake simply because you hate Floyd.

Had Broner done same you guys would be killing him. Matter of fact whenever any fighter takes a lesser fight you blame them. All except this one.

Its clear who is being biased and gullible. ****** people make ****** mistakes and Manny has proven to be ******.

Manny is a very underrated boxer and Floyd acknowledged his skills in the post fight interview and he explained why he was so defensive. so its not like he said Manny was trash.

Floyd also controlled the ring and tempo. every single time Manny attempted to rush him against the ropes Floyd would check hook and spin out. the hook didn't land flush but again you dont have to snap the head back to score. a layup and a dunk both worth two points.

based on "ring generalship" it was a landslide in Floyd's favor.

he wasnt snapping his head back but the level of respect Manny showed him was through the roof. anybody else that hits him with "soft jabs" and Manny will blitz and run through that
but he really wasn't and no thats not what im referring to. thats a straw man. im referring to jabs that didnt land or barely grazed him. this is a decent jab obviously but you cant pretend thats what he was landing all night. i could find pictures of lots of things. the video tells a different story. yes he landed some jabs. its a boxing match. but to pretend like he was landing them over and over as nothing was happening in the center of the ring? just not true.

check hook...um no that was an open handed push/slap shot and if we read the rules...You cannot hit with an open glove, the inside of the glove, the wrist, the backhand, or the side of the hand. those "punches" or pushes do not count as clean scoring blows. even if you did count them they paled in comparison to the clean work pac was doing. so why do we have to bend over backwards to count floyds punches? we dont have to do that with pacs...we dont have to ignore the rules and pretend a grazing shot is clean or an illegal shot is a check hook. he didnt turn them over! the reason he did this is cause he was already spinning off and wanted to get away. turning over a hook puts your balance more on the front foot while you can do an open handed slap while maintaining balance over your back foot. either way they were crap and shouldn't even count for much if anything

i dont understand your layup and dunk analogy. that implies all punches are worth equal. they are not. a soft push/open handed punch to the side or back of the head is not worth as much as a flush shot that lands with full impact. a better thing to say would be ok that little punch which shouldnt even be counted is worth 1 point while pacs clean hard shot is worth 5. something like that. obviously scoring is subjective but if you come up with a way to score like that i could understand.

ring generalship is something completely subjective. i could easily say manny was the ring general since he was coming forward and landing the much cleaner punches while barely getting hit in return. i could say he was forcing floyd to hold and bend over nonstop(illegal) just to keep up with him. i dont have to make up some story about how the old manny wouldnt let floyd do this or that. i only have to watch what is actually happening.

once again i reiterate making the fight a slow fight doesn't mean you are winning. it simply means each clean punch is worth so much more since there inst a lot of action on which to judge, and floyd did not have the clean punches for the most part so why would he win?

problem is floyd talked sh-it for a year saying i want to fight pac, take the test, hes on roids then when time came to fight...he goes from 50-50 to 90-10 split? that shows he does not want to fight.

You are saying that solely because you hate Floyd. In any other situation, you'd hold the guy that turned the fight down and then took a fight with a lower purse accountable.

We just saw something similar in the Canelo/GGG fight-Canelo gets popped, causing the fight to be delayed, and the purse split changes because of it, with GGG getting more since he wasn't the one that caused the delay.

Floyd ended up getting more than $200 mil and Manny less because it was Manny that delayed the fight in 2010.

There was no reason for Canelo to come up dirty, just like there was no reason for Manny to refuse PED testing.

          • Floyd winning on points. Floyd ages just as Manny does, it’s not a case of Manny got old and Floyd was still super human. Their is also the suggestion a Manny doping may be a tougher challenge for Floyd, is that what you’re saying ? I mean it’s pretty much accepted and recognised Manny was doping during his earlier period even by Freddie Roach then their is the ‘slight’ issue Manny refuses to pursue Paulie Malignaggi into repute for tarnishing his name due to Paulie stating he will bring people forward to corroborate the rumours we’ve all known for years.

I’m not saying Floyd hasn’t doped, but for me it’s evident Manny’s career has prospered more from doping it’s indisputable.

^100% accurate. Manny and co. held the fight up, because they only agreed to random ost for up until 10 days before fight time.

And gee.......I wonder why THAT was? Probably because he was juiced up to the gills.

I don't see why this is so hard to see for these people. Who turns down a fight of that magnitude over drug testing protocol..........if they're clean?

Makes no sense. Manny is a drug cheat, and you fanboys just need to accept it.

Just like you need to accept that Floyd beat him, fair and square, in the middle of the ring.

              I know, it hurts.

Thank you. My view exactly. I'll never say it isn't possible Floyd doped. He may well have doped.

But his entire career isn't a fraud like Manny's is. Freddie Roach even admitted they fired Ariza, because they didn't know what he was putting in Manny's shakes! I mean come on guys! Where there's smoke, there's fire.

HE'S A DRUG CHEAT. AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN.

haha he beat him with what an air jab while getting hit flush over and over? this is why the fight was pointless. the fanboys were always going to say floyd dominated and floyd schooled him no matter what happened. the best fights are fights like usyk-gassiev where no one has latched onto fighters like human parasites. if gassiev had more fans they would be claiming robbery now. the pac-floyd video will always exist and floyd still will be outlanded in clean punches long after you are dead. if future fans look at it they will say "wait floyd didn't do anything" but lets hope they dont watch it as it was horrible.

you gotta be an idiot to believe that. they didnt fire ariza because of that. and freddie only brought that up during thr rios fight when freddie got into with team rios.

i agreed, floyd is a drug cheat and always has been.

how dumb can you be to post that when floyd himself went and got ariza?
